Saber (セイバー, Seibā?) là Servant trường phái Saber khả dụng cho Kishinami Hakuno lựa chọn ở Cuộc Chiến Chén Thánh Moon Cell trong Fate/EXTRA và Fate/EXTRA CCC. Cô cũng là một trong những Servant của Fujimaru Ritsuka ở cuộc xung đột Grand Order trong Fate/Grand Order.
Cô thường được gọi là Saber Đỏ (赤セイバー, Aka Seibā?) để phân biệt với các Saber khác.[7]

Danh tính[]
Danh tính của Saber là Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (ネロ・クラウディウス・カエサル・アウグストゥス・ゲルマニクス, Nero Kuraudiusu Kaesaru Augusutusu Gerumanikusu?), Hoàng Đế thứ năm của Đế Chế La Mã. Cô được biết đến là một bạo chúa khét tiếng, người cai trị bằng âm mưu và độc dược nhằm áp bức những lực lượng tôn giáo khác, đặc biệt là Kitô Giáo và Thượng viện La Mã trong suốt khoảng thập niên 50 đến thập niên 60 Sau Công Nguyên. Có một giả thuyết cho rằng Cuốn sách Khải Huyền được cho ra đời như một hành động để chống đối những hành động bạo lực đó. Cô thường được sánh ngang với Ác Ma, lý do là vì trong tiếng Do Thái, "Nero Caesar", tên Hoàng Đế của cô được phát âm là "NRVN QSR", giống với Con số của quái thú Khải Huyền. Cái tên này và cái tên khác là "Quái Thú của Babylon" được dùng để nói đến toàn bộ La Mã chứ không chỉ cá nhân cô.
Lịch sử[]
Cha đẻ của Nero là Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus, anh họ của Hoàng Đế thứ tư là Claudius, và mẹ của cô, Julia Augusta Agrippina, là em gái của Hoàng Đế Caligula. Bởi vì cha cô bị xem là một người đàn ông yếu đuối, Nero đã bị cấm kế vị ngai vàng. Agrippina sau đó tái hôn với Hoàng Đế Claudius (chú của Agrippina) và thuyết phục ông nhận Nero làm con nuôi để có cơ hội làm người thừa kế ngôi vàng, một mặt bà dẫn dắt Nero trên con đường trở thành Hoàng Đế, một mặt bà lại uốn nắn Nero theo hình tượng xấu xa mà bà nghĩ tới và tất cả bắt đầu từ sự trụy lạc của chính bà. Agrippina, thông qua những âm mưu và thao túng, ép Octavia (con gái của Claudius và chị kế của Nero) kết hôn với Nero. Họ hàng của Nero phỉ báng, xem thường cô vì quyền thừa kế không chánh đáng này và quan hệ giữa họ ngày càng trở nên căng thẳng. Từ đó Nero cũng trở nên có thiện cảm với người lạ hơn người nhà.
Trong suốt thời niên thiếu, Nero được tôn kính như một thẩm phán quyền lực, người đã giải quyết thỏa mãn một loạt vụ tố tụng quan trọng với sự công bằng và hiệu quả, mặc dù Claudius đã cấm cô không được làm vậy vì tuổi cô còn nhỏ. Nero cuối cùng kế vị cha nuôi của cô Claudius sau khi mẹ cô ám sát ông vào những năm 54 sau Công nguyên, cô lên ngôi lúc 17 tuổi, điều này vốn vô cùng khó khăn với xuất thân của cô.
Sau khi lên ngôi, Nero đã phân phát tiền vàng cho mọi người nhân dịp lễ đăng quang của mình. Tiếp theo đó cô cũng bãi bỏ hết những thứ thuế gián thu. Có thể dễ dàng đoán được rằng việc nhân dân sùng bái sự rộng lượng của cô là điều khó thể tránh khỏi. Nero sau đó ra sức cải cách bộ máy chính trị suy đồi và Thượng viện đầy tham nhũng hiện tại, nhưng cuộc cải cách này đã lại trở nên trì trệ và gặp phải sự thù địch của cả hai bên. Mâu thuẫn với Thượng nghị viện bùng nổ khi Nero cố gắng thống nhất Đế Chế La Mã và một số lãnh thổ gây khó khăn cho cô. Nhưng ngược lại thì, Nero lại rất nổi tiếng trong mắt người dân, tất cả là nhờ vào các chính sách rộng lượng mà cô phổ cập; cô cũng rất coi trọng việc ngoại giao, điều đó đã khiến cho mối quan hệ giữa Britannia với La Mã được cải thiện trong những năm tiếp theo. Về cơ bản, cô là người đã tạo cơ hội để Huyền thoại về vua Arthur được khai sinh. Cô cũng được người Ba Tư đề cao và khen ngợi rất nhiều, nhiều đến nỗi họ gọi La Mã với cái tên “Đất Nước của Nero” sau khi cô mất.
Nero đã phải tranh cãi với Thượng nghị viện và người mẹ đầy thâm độc của cô, người chỉ dưa ra những chính sách để trục lợi cho bản thân. Agrippina chỉ xem Nero như một công cụ để giúp bà với tới ngôi vị mẹ của Hoàng Đế. Vì lẽ đó xung đột giữa họ ngày càng trở nên khốc liệt. Dẫn tới việc Nero phải phái sát thủ để ám sát người mẹ này trước khi cô có thể triệt tiêu tận gốc Thượng nghị viện còn khó chịu hơn gấp nhiều lần này. Nhưng rủi thay vụ ám sát đã thất bại và việc duy nhất cô có thể làm là hạ bệ mẹ cô một cách công khai bằng cách buộc tội bà đã cố đầu độc cô. Năm đó là năm 59 sau Công nguyên, đó là năm mà danh tiếng của Nero gắn liền với hai chữ Bạo chúa. Nero cho biết rằng kể từ ngày hôm đó cô luôn bị hành hạ bởi những cơn đau đầu. Cô bị dày vò bởi chứng cuồng loạn kinh niên, là kết quả từ việc thường xuyên sử dụng chiếc cúp bạc. Thật ra thì Nero đã bị mẹ cô đầu độc từ nhỏ, đễ dễ dàng kiểm soát cô, nếu cô không chống lại những quyết định của bà thì bà sẽ đưa thuốc giải theo kỳ cho cô. Tuy nhiên khi mẹ cô mất, bà đã mang theo thuốc giải xuống mồ cùng với mình, từ đó Nero đã phải liên tục bị dày vò bởi những cơn mê sảng triền miên.
Cuộc đời của Nero đã thay đổi một cách chóng mặt kể từ sau khi cô lên ngôi. Vợ cô là Octavia đã phải tự sát. Người em trai kế của cô cũng bị sát hại để bảo vệ danh tiếng của cô và sau đó là việc đẩy người cố vấn duy nhất của cô, triết gia Seneca, phải tự sát. Cái chết của Seneca ảnh hưởng rất lớn đến Nero vì cô xem ông như một người cha. Theo như Nero nói, cô sẽ tha thứ cho lỗi lầm mà ông gây nên nhưng Seneca đã nghi ngờ lời nói của Nero và kết thúc cuộc đời trong chính ngôi nhà của Nero. Cô đau khổ vì Seneca đã không tin tưởng cô. Thông qua những hành động ích kỷ và lời nói của mình, cô là một con quái vật trong mắt người thân nhưng lại nổi tiếng trong mắt người dân.
Nero lập ra “Lễ hội Nero” vào những năm 59, 60 Sau Công Nguyên, một hội thao lấy Thế vận hội Hy Lạp làm hình mẫu, diễn ra mỗi 5 năm một lần. Lễ hội Nero gồm 3 lĩnh vực là âm nhạc, thể dục dụng cụ và cưỡi ngựa và cô thậm chí còn tự mình tham gia các sự kiện đó. Vào 19 tháng 7 năm 64 Sau Công Nguyên, có một đám cháy lớn đã thiêu rụi gần như toàn bộ La Mã. Số nạn nhân đã được hạn chế tối đa nhờ vào phản ứng nhanh nhạy và kịp thời của Nero, cô sau đó trở nên nổi tiếng hơn nữa trong mắt người dân bằng cách thực hiện những đối sách đầy hứa hẹn. Những đối sách này được mọi người đánh giá rất cao, được xem như “những đối sách đầy hữu hiệu đã đạt tới tận cùng tri thức của loài người” thậm chí là với những nhà sử học trỉ chích cô sau này. Sau đó cô thành lập Nhà Hát Domus Aurea do chính cô thiết kế. Nhưng mọi thời đại rồi cũng tới hồi kết, cô đã bị tước ngai vị trong một cuộc nổi loạn vào năm 69 Sau Công Nguyên, dẫn đầu bởi Vindex của xứ Gallia. Ban đầu Nero không để tâm đến việc này có lẽ là vì cô vẫn còn tin tưởng vào Vindex, kẻ khởi xướng cuộc nổi loạn này. Hoặc cũng có lẽ là do cô đã quá tuyệt vọng và mong muốn việc này sẽ khiến cho mọi thứ đi tới hồi kết. Hai năm sau, Vindex lại tiếp tục kích động một cuộc nổi loạn nữa và cũng vào lúc đó Thượng viện đã chịu đựng quá đủ với Nero. Thượng viện cực kỳ không hài lòng với cách mà cô xử lý những cuộc nổi loạn đang diễn ra, đến nỗi họ đã gắn cho Nero cái mác kẻ phản đồ cho cô và buộc cô phải trốn khỏi đất nước của chính mình, Đế Chế La Mã. Nero đã tin tưởng rằng dân chúng sẽ bảo vệ cô vì những chính sách mà cô đã tạo ra cùng sự nổi tiếng của cô. Thế nhưng, người dân La Mã đã chọn giải pháp là câm lặng và không làm gì cả. Họ đã ruồng bỏ cô, sau khi tất cả những gì mà cô đã cống hiến cho họ. Cô đã thừa nhận rằng cô đã phạm phải sai lầm trong phán xét của mình khi dựa dẫm vào người dân. Tuy vậy, cô không căm thù họ, cô chỉ cảm thấy buồn về cách hành xử của họ, và tự nhủ rằng “Đó là sai lầm lớn nhất của ta khi đã yêu họ theo cách mà họ không thể hiểu được”.
Cuối cùng cô chọn cách tự sát, mặc dù đó là một cái kết mà cô xem là không xứng với một người nghệ sĩ như cô. Cô đã dừng lại nhiều lần, khóc về việc “Làm sao một nghệ sĩ lộng lẫy như thế này có thể biến mất khỏi thế giới như vậy cơ chứ?”, nhưng khi những kẻ phản bội cô đã đến rất gần rồi, cô trích lại một câu nói nổi tiếng trong bài ca thành Ilium của Homer “Hark, giờ hãy để cho ta nghe tiếng giậm của những chiến mã nhanh nhẹn nào!" A theater based on the palace Nero had built after her original one burned to the ground. Called the Domus Aurea, it was a grand villa built upon the ruins of the homes of the aristocracy that once covered the famed Esquiline Hill.
Historical accounts paint Nero as somewhat delusional, and she herself has claimed that she herself has claimed that she was an artist and performer of such incredible gifts that only the god Apollo could match her skills. She would often perform for the masses, but those spectators for the would frequently leave midway through her performances. She was so enraged by this obvious act of disrespect that she would order all entrances to the theater in which she was performing to be sealed until the final curtain fell.
This Noble Phantasm is based on the highest and most difficult principles of thaumaturgy and superficially resembles a reality marble, though its effects are far more pronounced. It creates a reality in which one's imperial aspirations can be fully realized.
02 - Aestus Estus: The Embryonic Flame
The hand-crafted crimson sword wielded by Saber when summoned by a Master. The following inscription has been engraved on the blade: regnum caelorum et gehenna.
03 - The Great Fire of Rome
July 19, 64 AD.
A devastating fire erupted in one of the poorer districts of Rome and quickly spread throughout the city, reducing most of it to ashes. Contrary to popular belief, Nero quickly responded to the disaster and even contributed to relief efforts out of her own personal funds. While she became immensely popular with the common citizenry, her populist policies combined with her sometimes bizarre predilections earned her the ire of not only the higher castes, but also of historians who insist on painting her as a tyrant.０１ - 招き蕩う黄金劇場

ネロは為政者として迅速かつ適切に対応し、犠牲者を最小限に留め、後の保証を徹底して市民の絶大な人気を博した。
この施策は彼女を批判する多くの歴史家たちでさえ
「人智の限りをつくした有効な施策」
と絶賛したほどである。

Nullifies minor spells consisting of chants of two verses or less. Ineffective against high-level thaumaturgy and the greater rituals. As Saber herself has a negligible resistance to magic, the effectiveness of this skill is pathetically low, even by the normal standard of the Saber class.
Royal Prerogative [EX]
In response to the demands of a Master, skills that would otherwise be impossible to perform can be used for a short period of time. Some of the skills that can be acquired through this ability include those related to riding, weapons mastery, fine arts, military strategy, and diplomacy. Should an A rank be achieved, more esoteric skills becomes obtainable.
Migraine [B]
A curse that was inherited from her place of birth during her mortal life. As a result of the crushing headaches inflicted by this condition, the effectiveness of mental skills decreases considerably. Details 01 - Character Background
Nero reigned as emperor during the years 54 to 64 AD. Although most surviving contemporary accounts paint her as a vicious tyrant who disregarded the Senate and violently oppressed the nascent Christian movement, many scholars believe that these accounts were an attempt to discredit her, as she incredibly popular with the citizenry.
Whatever the case, her infamy is such that some theorize that the Book of Revelations found in the Vulgate Bible was written as commentary on and reaction to her supposed repression of the Christian faith, and have gone so far as to make the case that Hebrew pronunciation of her imperial name (Caesar) -NRVN QSR- is the same as the phrase "Number of the Beast."
However, this has been proven to be patently false, as that term commonly referred to Rome itself, and not to any one individual, royal or otherwise.
02 - "Nero the Tyrant"
Taking the name Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus upon her ascension to the imperial throne, she was the fifth emperor of the Roman Empire and the last of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, who had ruled Rome since its inception.
The daughter of the cousin of the fourth emperor Claudius, she was put on the throne at the age of seventeen as a result of the devious scheming and possible matricide by her mother, Julia Augusta Agrippina. Once on the throne, she immediately began to demonstrate her talents at administration as well as her ability to navigate the often murky political situation inherent in Roman government.
In addition to the above, Nero was generally acknowledged to be a consummate diplomat who preferred discussion and compromise to warfare and conflict. She was held in especially high esteem by both the peoples of Brittania and the leaders of the nations of Persia, who continued to refer to Rome as the "country of Nero" long after her death.
While popular abroad and with the lower castes at home, the Senate and the higher caste members of the empire grew weary of her populist policies, extravagant expenditures on public entertainments, and occasionally irrational repression of religious expression. In the year 68 AD, a series of revolt drove Nero from the throne and eventually to suicide. It was said that in her final hours she continually expresses her anguish that anguish that an artist such as herself had to die, but as those who betrayed her closed in she quote a line from Homer's Iliad ("Hark, now strikes on my ear the trampling of swift-footed coursers!") and then drove a dagger into her throat.０１ - 人物背景

彼女を皇帝としたヘブライ発音NRVN QSRを「６６６の獣」とし、悪魔と同一視された。

０２ - 『暴君 ネロ』
本名、ネロ・クラウディウス・カエサル・アウグストゥス・ゲルマニクス。
帝政ローマの第５代皇帝。
生涯を謀略と毒とに彩られた悪名高き暴君。
父は第４代皇帝クラウディウスのいとこである、淫蕩なグエナウス・ドミティウス・アヘノバルブス。
母は暴帝カリギュラの妹であるユリア・アウグスタ・アグリッピナ。
出自を考えると皇帝になるのは非常に難しいが、母アグリッピナが第４代皇帝クラウディウスと再婚。
母の奸計によって、５４年のクラウディウスの死後、ネロは義父からの相続として皇帝となった。
もっとも、皇帝になる前からその才能を発揮し、非常に有能な裁判官として慕われていた。
その公正さ、有能さから、重要な訴訟をいくつも持ち込まれていたという。
（まだ若いため、重要な訴訟の持ち込みを義父クラウディウスが禁じていたにもかかわらず、である。）

ネロは１７歳にして皇帝に即位し、その気前の良い政策で市民からは絶大な人気を誇った。
外交にも気を使い、イギリス（ブリタニア）における後年のローマに対する人気は彼女の政策に起因する。
ある意味では、アーサー王伝説を誕生させたきっかけを作った人物ですらある。
加えてペルシャはネロを絶賛することおびただしく、ペルシャはネロの死後も
「ネロの国だったので」
とローマに大きく配慮したという。
５９年（６０年説も）には、ギリシャのオリンピックにあやかって５年に一度開かれる競技会「ネロ祭」を設立。音楽、体育、騎馬と三つの部門を開き、そのいくつかには自分も出場している。
６９年に起きた反乱で皇帝の座を追われ、ローマから逃亡。
その最中で逃げ切れないと悟り、自決を決意した。
……が、その最期は潔いものではなかったらしい。
「この世から何と素晴らしい芸術家が消えることか」

Her true name is unknown, but either way, this is one of the deeds of her life, where she did as she liked. Basically, calling it the privilege of an emperor, she kept beautiful boys and beautiful girls.
It seems that she indulged her whims as much as wanted: listening to them singing, having them model for sculpture, receiving massages from them, and occasionally having them be her companion in fashionable games.
Besides the harem, she opened tournaments crowned with her own name, appear in Olympia (the root word of olympic) and become the champion, boast that she was an artist that rivals the god of music Apollo, declare that she was a charioteer that rivals the god of the sun Sol; whether now or then, her love of flashiness hasn't changed.
However, unexpectedly, before she became emperor, she was appreciated as an impartial judge. This flashy life all came about after she became emperor. Or maybe, she considered an emperor a "light which, like the sun, is necessary and essential to the people and the world," and maybe she was performing that role with all her strength.
Laurel Wreath Veil
Saber's second SG. Its other name is "Desire for Marriage."
Rather than a secret, it is a desire, a dream. As she became emperor as a girl, she was unable to welcome a wedding ceremony as a single human being. From her admiration of that, this SG was given form.
Though her birthplace of the peninsula of Italy is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, it is a region of especially vigorous volcanic activity and a zone of reoccurring earthquakes. Regions like this...of course, Japan is included as well...as an often seen peculiarity, attached importance to symbols that have to do with fertility and symbols of living motion.
The greatest of these is a crown of bay laurel--the laurel wreath.
Since Ancient Greece, within the scope of Mediterranean civilization, the laurel wreath is a tradition, a symbol of glory granted to the victors of all games. This is the reason that the successive generations of emperors had their heads crowned with laurel wreaths.
Of course, Saber, as the emperor or maybe as the winner of a tournament, has been crowned with a laurel wreath countless times. There is no mistake that a veil in the shape of a laurel wreath is reflected in her mind as a treasure that has no superior.

Saber's third SG.
The way of her heart. It is said that while Saber personally criticized herself as self-righteous, she pursued the beauty to forgive ten thousand people--the ultimate beauty. That wish was not granted even to the end, of course.

One of the Servants who contracts with the protagonist.
A (self-proclaimed to be) crossdressing young swordswoman clothed in a bright crimson dress. Often called Red Saber to distinguish her from other Sabers.

A headstrong emperor who calls herself an omni-talented genius and actualizes (by force) most of the things she wills.
Though often mistaken for a tyrant because of her arrogance and confident proclamations, as a rule she acknowledges the ways of existences of all manners of people, without rejection.
She judges not by society's standards of good and evil, but by the human beauty.
Having dabbled in plays, song, painting, sculpture, and such various arts, upon creating a new work,
“How’s this? It is quite good, no? T-true, it may be a little on the maniacal side, but is it not good nonetheless?”
A little miss attention seeker who tearfully begs for appraisal like so.
Though she would normally not qualify for the Saber class with her parameters, well, she took care of that part somehow with her Imperial Privilege. She would properly be a commander-type Servant.
As a Servant, she has no particular contentions or wishes.
That is because she is perfect by simply existing.
At least, Saber herself says,
“I am consummate simply by thinking, speaking, and sleeping while being myself. No matter the era, the mere fact of my existence symbolizes the might of Rome.”
Since she’s already perfect, there remains nothing more for her to seek.
She has reached the conclusion that simply being herself is the finest reward in itself.
Since she has absolute beliefs and tenets within herself, she isn’t offended by much.
To Saber, the one unacceptable thing is to “for her to not be able to act as herself.”
The reason why the egocentric Saber is fine with being used as a Servant is because a Servant is contracted as that which “must prove her supremacy.”
“Hmm? I am to prove my supremacy, yes? That I have no complaints about. I shall simply fight a fight not shameful to myself.
Even if I had a frog for a Master, if I can fight together with the frog and emerge the victor without shame, it would become a pride of mine.”
Such is her amazingly optimistic outlook.
And so it’s rare for her to scold the inexperienced protagonist. Though she does grumble about the protagonist’s timidity and fecklessness, in her heart she does not truly look down on the protagonist.
To her, saying that the protagonist is “feeble” is simply an honest appraisal.
Thus, when the protagonist grows as a Master and builds the bond of trust, she becomes more straightforwardly affectionate.
“Confound it all, pay more attention to me!
Since you are contracted to me, you shall put me first of all things!”
Thus the attention-starved puppy emperor came to be.
However, in the first place, there isn’t a Master to be found who would summon her.
Her true name corresponds to great evil in a certain religion, and the end of her life was a miserable one.
Just as much as she is an emperor, she is also an artist with unshakable faith in her own genius, and the only absolute justice to her is “beauty.”
Whether ally, enemy, her citizens, or herself, she will not love anything that does not fit into that category.
That holds true even for a Master. For sure, she will never obey someone she finds unseemly.
There’s no magus who would want to make use of a weapon who judges matters based on something like “beauty.” Contracting with this Heroic Spirit is simply too risky.
“……Well, that’s only natural.
Magi are clever and calculating creatures;
certainly not fools who would entrust their lives to me.”
And so she spent her days in ennui in the Throne of Heroes.
Though she gets lonely, her pride overcame that. She decided not to settle for just anyone, planning on only contracting with a genius of her level.
And so, at the end of another round of preliminaries.
Just when she was about to leave, thinking that there was no one to call her this time either, she heard a faint voice.
When she turned, she saw a nameless someone who, despite being on the verge of death, still fought to stand.
Someone who was not strong.
Someone who had no outstanding talent.
Someone who wasn’t even a proper wizard.
But―――Saber saw a kindling that twinkled like a star in the night, a kindling that refused to fade.
Instantly, she rushed forward.
What she had in her chest was not sympathy for that someone, but anger against the high heavens.
She knew that it was the way of the world for the weak to remain weak and perish, their prayers to no avail.
Precisely because she knew this, she couldn’t stand for it.
What kind of heaven would ignore such powerful will?
Even in the death throes, that nameless one chose not to give up but to fight.
“If it would not answer that purehearted wish, the will of the heavens matters not! How can I not answer the cry of that noble soul―――?!”
Rather than answering summons, Saber had come to the place of selection of her own volition.
While groaning inwardly at the offering up of herself that she had disliked so, she speaks to the nameless soul.
“Answer me―――are you my Praetor?”
She appears in a white bridal dress for CCC, earning the nickname of Bride Saber. Since there’s another Red Saber in Apocrypha now, I feel like we need another nickname for her to cover both Extra and CCC.
Tange Saber……no? Okay, I guess not.
Her rival in CCC is Red Lancer.
One hopes that they can become friendly rivals as idols.
After all, having both experienced similar reactions to their performances, it seems like there’s plenty they can talk about.
Also, her voice when the player acquires her swimwear is a must-listen. Therein lies the max endearing charm of the Tange Saber.セイバー【サーヴァント】
主人公と契約するメインサーヴァントのひとり。
鮮やかな赤色のドレスに身を包んだ、自称・男装の少女剣士。他のセイバーと混同しないよう『赤セイバー』と呼ばれる事が多い。
一人称は『余』。あるいは『この身』。彼女が「私」と口にする時は皇帝でなくなった時だけである。
主人公の呼び方は、
契約者として身を預ける時は『奏者』。
いっさいの私情を挟まず、ただ剣に徹しなくてはならない時は『マスター』。
ひとりの乙女として接する時は『そなた』。
ちなみに、聖杯戦争中セイバーが『そなた』と呼びかけるのは主人公だけ。
自らを万能の天才と称し、たいていの事は（ムリヤリ）実現化させるワガママ皇帝。
尊大な態度、自信満々な発言から暴君と勘違いされがちだが、基本的にあらゆる者の在り方を“それはそれで良し”と認め、拒絶しない性格。
彼女が見定めるものは社会的な善悪ではなく、人間的な美しさの在り方が基準となる。
演劇、歌、絵画、彫刻、と芸術に理解があり、ことあるごとに作品を作っては
「これはどうだ？良いであろう？で、出来は少々マニアックかも知れぬが、ちゃんと良いであろう？」
と涙目で評価を求めてくるかまってちゃん。
本来ならセイバーのクラスにはパラメーターが届かないのだが、そこはそれ、皇帝特権でなんとかした。正しくは指揮官系のサーヴァント。
サーヴァントとしての主張、望みはない。
なぜなら彼女はそこにあるだけで完壁だからだ。
少なくともセイバー本人は
「余は、余として思い、語り、眠るだけで完全なのだ。いかな時代であれこの身がある事。それ自体が、ローマの威光を現している」と語る。
すでに完壁だから、これ以上求めるものがない。
ただ自分が自分ごしてある事が最高の褒美なのだ、と達観している。
このように、自分の中に絶対のもの……信念、価値観……があるので、たいていの出来事には反発しない。
セイバーにとって譲れないものは“自分が、自分らしく振る舞えない事”である。
唯我独尊なセイバーがサーヴァントとして使われる事に納得しているのは、サーヴァント自身が“最強を証明するもの”として契約するものだから。
「ん？自分が最高である事を証明するのであろう？
その在り方なら文句はない。余は余に恥じない戦いをするだけのこと。乱暴な話、余の契約者がカエルであっても、カエルとともに戦い、自らを恥じる事なく勝者たり得るのであれば、それは余にとっての誉れになろう」
という、すごいポジティブシンキング。
そんな赤セイバーなので、未熟な主人公を叱る事はあまりない。不甲斐ない、弱々しい、呆れかえる、と感想はこぼすものの、心底から見下しはしない。
“弱々しい”等は、彼女にとってホントに素直な評価にすぎないのである。
なので、主人公がマスターとして成長し、信頼を深めるとより強い、まっすぐな好意を抱くようになる。
「ええい、もう少し余にかまえっ！
そなたの契約者は余だぞ、余を一番に扱うがよい！」
かまってもらいたくて仕方のない、ワンコ皇帝の爆誕である。

しかし、彼女を召喚するマスターはまずいない。
彼女の真名はある宗教観では大悪にあたり、彼女の人生の結末も悲惨なものだった。
セイバーは皇帝であると同時に、自分を天才と疑わない廿耳術家で、彼女にとって絶対の正義とは“美しくあること”のみ。
味方であれ、敵であれ、市民であれ、自分であれ、この定義から外れたものを彼女が愛する事はない。
それは契約者であるマスターも同じ事。彼女は決して、醜いものには従わない。
そんな『美』などという主観を判断基準にする兵器を運営したがる魔術師はいないだろう。この英霊との契約は、あまりにもリスクが大きすぎるのだ。
「……まあ、それも当然よな。
魔術師とは聡明で、かつ計算高いものよ。
余を信頼し、命を預ける馬鹿者である筈がない」
などと、英霊の座でアンニュイに過ごしていたセイバー。
寂しがり屋だが、それ以上に誇り高い彼女は自分の安売りはせず、自身と同格の天才としか契約する気はなかったのである。
そうして、何度目かの予選の終わり。
今回も自分を呼ぶ者はいなかったな、と選定の場を離れようとした時、彼女は小さな声を聞いた。
振り返れば、そこには瀕死でありながらも立ち上がろうとする、名も知らぬ何者かの姿があった。
強くはない。
選ばれた才もない。
そもそも一人前の魔術師ですらない。
けれど───暗中の星のようにきらめく、決して消えない種火を見た。
瞬間、彼女は駆けだしていた。
胸にあるのは伏した何者かへの情（なさけ）ではなく、そびえる天への怒りだった。
彼女とて英雄として没した者。
祈りは届かず、弱者は弱者のまま消え去るのが世の常だと知っている。
知っているからこそ我慢は出来なかった。
あれほどの想いを聞き届けなくて何が天か。
あの者は死中においてさえ、『もういい』ではなく「まだ戦う』と抗っている。
「その純粋な願いに応えぬというのなら、もはや天運などどうでもよい！あの気高い魂の叫びに、余が応えずして何とする───！」
セイバーはマスターによる召喚ではなく、自らの意思で選定の場に舞い降りた。
あれほど嫌がっていた自分の安売りに頭痛を覚えつつも、彼女は名も無い人間に語りかける。
「応えよ───そなたが余の奏者[マスター]か？」

CCCでは白い花嫁衣装で登場。
セイバーブライド、嫁セイバー、といった愛称がつけられている。アポクリに赤いセイバーさんも出てきた事だし、そろそろEXTRAとCCC共通の愛称を考えたい。丹下セイバー……だめか。だめだな。
CCCにおけるライバルは赤ランサー。
アイドルとして切磋琢磨しあう関係になってほしい。どん引きの経歴を持つ者同士、いろいろなところで悩みを共有できる関係になりそうだし。
また、『着替え・水着』をゲットした時のボイスは必聴。丹下セイバーのハートキャッチカのMAXが、あそこにある。

She also paid attention to diplomacy, the popularity towards Roma in the England (Britannia) of later years had her political measures as its cause.
